Gabe is an Associate at Fontinalis, where he supports audacious founders addressing big problems in mobility. He plays an active role in all facets of Fontinalis’ investment process, helping manage the firm’s seed investment program, advancing the firm’s thesis on emerging areas in mobility, and helping founders across the portfolio with strategic and business development initiatives.
Gabe currently serves as a Board Observer of Verity Studios. Additionally, he has played a key role in numerous other Fontinalis investments, including sourcing and conducting due diligence for the seed investment in nuTonomy (acquired by Delphi/Aptiv in November 2017).
Prior to re-joining Fontinalis in 2018, Gabe worked at Improbable in London, where he helped bring massive-scale simulation to the gaming, defense, and telecommunications markets. Gabe began his career at Fontinalis Partners while serving as a Venture for America fellow in Detroit. His previous professional experiences include time in investment banking and public finance at Citi, as well as a gap semester during Fall 2012 working in the Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation at The White House.
Gabe earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School. During his time in business school, Gabe invested in and supported student founders as a member of the Rock Venture Partners program. Gabe holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Harvard University, where he concentrated in Social Studies and captained the Harvard Men’s Rugby team.
